Windows or Mac, at your home

Computer lessons for seniors, at your pace

Whether your computer is an old accomplice or a source of sighs, the principle is the same: a patient student sits down beside you, at your home, and we put things back in order — in the machine and in the mind. No jargon, and never any rushing.

What we learn on your computer

  • Email: writing, replying, attaching photos or documents, cleaning up the inbox
  • The internet: searching effectively, keeping your favourite sites, avoiding the traps
  • Your photos: importing them from the phone, organizing them, finding them again
  • Writing documents: a letter, a list, the family recipe book
  • The printer: printing, scanning, and getting it back on speaking terms with the computer
  • Passwords: choosing strong ones and never losing them again
  • Updates: which ones to accept, when, and why
  • Files and the desktop: tidying, finding, backing up

A computer dragging its feet?

A slow computer isn’t necessarily headed for the bin. We look together at what’s slowing it down — a cluttered startup, a full disk, unwanted programs — and in many cases a good clean-up sets it right.

And if the machine truly is at the end of the road, we tell you honestly and advise you on what’s next: what to buy (or not), based on your real needs. We sell nothing — there’s no commission in it for us.

Windows, Mac, laptop or tower: all welcome

The lesson happens on YOUR machine, with YOUR software — not on a demo computer. Windows PCs of every era, MacBook or iMac, big laptop or little tower under the desk: our students adapt to what you have.

Just changed computers? We transfer your documents and photos from the old one to the new one together, and we rebuild your habits — so the new machine behaves like an old friend.

How much does it cost?

The first lesson is free, whichever format you pick. After that: simple prices, no tax, no subscription. And we travel anywhere in Montreal — travel included.

Frequently asked questions

Do you teach on Windows AND Mac?

Yes, both — and always on your own computer, so every gesture you learn applies directly to your daily life.

I’m starting from absolute zero — mouse and keyboard included. Is it too late?

Never. We start exactly where you are: the mouse, the keyboard, turning it on and off without stress. Our proudest students are often the ones who started from zero.

My computer is very old. Is it worth it?

We assess it together, honestly. Often a clean-up is enough to give it a few more good years. If not, we tell you straight and advise you on what’s next — without selling you anything.

Can you help me choose a new computer?

Gladly: we define your real needs together, recommend two or three clear options, and once it’s bought, we set everything up with you. No commission, no bias.

Do you give homework?

Only if you want some! We prefer leaving small, enjoyable practice tasks — sending a photo, writing an email — and clear notes so you can redo the steps on your own. Learning should stay a pleasure.
